My friend, Lynne, could use a pick-me-up after her car recently stopped working. She’s a single mom of two boys, one of whom is disabled. Like many parents of disabled children, having a reliable vehicle is a priority for safety, especially when there are elopement concerns and winter weather impacting the walkability of sidewalks.
Lynne and I met at a moms of disabled children support group and we want to help get her a reliable used vehicle so she can safely transport her kids to school, extracurriculars, therapies, and medical appointments.
Our goal is $7000: $6000 to cover the cost of a vehicle and $1000 for gas and insurance.
