Release Mates is a charity made up of prison leavers in recovery from addiction who now support other prison leavers. Established in 2022, Release Mates has supported over 2500 people leaving prison. The team offers practical support such as food, clothing, and toiletries, while using its own experiences of positive change after prison to influence others.

Each donation helps to pay for travel costs, paying for a prison leaver's pack, or helps to buy a coffee for a person on the day of their release.
