Reinstate Hadley End Telephone Box Library

Tragedy struck in the morning of Saturday 08th Mar 25 when a fire broke out in the Hadley End Telephone Box library, a faulty light fitting being the cause. There has been significant internal damage to both the contents and the fittings of the Phone box itself, including the wooden door frame, plastic polycarbonate windows and light fitting.

The aim is to raise funds (£1000) for the full restoration of this British Classic K6 Type Telephone Box and re-instate the library. There has already been a great deal of effort by local volunteers giving freely of their time to the initial clean up, however there are a number of material purchases that are needed.
