Reg Hayes needs your help

My name is Tim Hayes. My father is Reg Hayes and in February of this year he suffered a devastating setback to his fight against Parkinson's Dementia. Bronchitis put him in the hospital for nearly a month and stripped him of most of his ability to care for himself. As his caregiver before this event he was already more than I could competently care for. Since February we have been on a terrifying rollercoaster of care facilities and hospitals. In that time we have been patiently waiting for his VA application to go through as our combined savings has been taxed to exhaustion. His condition has become one which requires constant care and attention. Far more than we, his family, can provide. Every cent donated will go to pay for his care over the next 6 months as we patiently await the VA. The barest truth to our world is that the care he requires costs around 7 thousand dollars a month not including things like clothes and medical supplies. A lesson for us all to check on insurance that will pay for your end of life care as these facilities don't take normal insurance or Medicare. This is a lot of money. I understand if giving only a few dollars seems like it isn't enough, but we thank you for whatever you are able to give.
