Nathan and I both share a passion for being relationally invested in and positively impacting our local community. As a couple, we desire to give to others of our time, energy, and resources, and we intend for our marriage to continue to reflect these values.

That being said, we would be so honored if you would donate to the work of Refuge KC in place of a wedding gift. Kansas City resettles around 500 refugees a year, while thousands more call the metro home. RefugeKC exists to welcome refugees as our neighbors with Gospel-focused ministries of mercy so they might know the love of Christ and follow Him into His Kingdom. As we will be living in the Kansas City area after we get married, this ministry is close to our hearts.

We both have a heart for caring for and empowering the hungry, poor, stranger, and sick (Matthew 25). We are far from perfect, but we want to strive to keep our eyes open to those around us who are in need and search for opportunities in which we can use our time and resources to leave the people we cross paths with better than we found them.
