Hi, we are part of the NYIT Medical Outreach Program: For Refugees in Need, and we'll be flying to Greece in July 2023 to spend roughly 10 days helping refugee families. We're working with the following Nonprofit Organizations:

Our mission is to provide educational workshops, art therapy, medical care and emotional support for refugee families. We'll also be going on a couple of day trips to beautiful surrounding areas to swim with some of the families, which the kids have loved on previous trips. They deserve an opportunity to have enjoyable experiences, and we all can help create those moments!

Many displaced children and adult refugees from surrounding countries are residing in Athens, Greece, where we'll be spending much of our time. 2023 is our third year of volunteering, and we're very excited to spread love where it's needed most. New York Institute of Technology Department of Nursing and The School of Health Professions will be collaborating with the non-profit organizations Love Without Borders, and The STEAMM Initiative to provide a interdisciplinary medical outreach opportunity for current students in the NYIT School of Health Professions.

All donations will be utilized to help offset airfare and hotel expenses for 10 student volunteers.
