REFUGEE FAMILY OF 6 HOMELESS

Hi Everyone my name is Zorah and I am raising funds for a refugee family of 6 in the bay area. They are currently living out of a van. The father has found work however is unable to commit because he can not leave his wife and children in the van alone. Unfortunately the system has failed them and they are unable to get help through the agencies assigned to helping refugees. My family and I are trying to connect them with local agencies, mosques, and churches to try and get them help however we still need to raise funds for their deposit on housing. Our neighbors need our help, any little bit makes a difference. Let’s try and give them as much support as possible to build a life here. We would love to start off the holidays with the gift of a roof over their head.

FYI….they have been registered with 211, no luck yet. They will be applying for section 8. IRC is completely backlogged so their are no updates their. We will also be reaching out to UAA. ANY OTHER SOURCES PLEASE LET US KNOW.
