Refugee Family of 4 starting new in Cary...

We are helping Valera, Marina, Sasha (9), and Mila (2) start a new life in Cary, after fleeing their life and home in Kharkiv, Ukraine. They had a beautiful and normal family life in Kharkiv, with good jobs, an apartment, and Sasha on his local soccer team. All of that was destroyed on February 24th when Russia invaded Ukraine.

Marina and her family have friends in Cary, because she was a missionary to the orphans in Ukraine for many years. She helped dozens of orphans find their forever families and became a permanent figure of love and support for so many others! She's truly a one of a kind person whose heart for helping others in contagious.
