Developing Diplomacy's mission is to support communities that are enduring hardships and suffering post conflicts in their countries including the aftermath of geopolitical wars, civil wars and internal fighting. This GoFundMe campaign goal is to raise sufficient funds in order to supply and ship much needed basic school supplies to Iraqi children who have been internally displaced and are living in refugee camps. The conditions of the camps and their circumstances make daily life challenging for families. The goal of the activity kits is to provide the children with much needed school supplies as well as a sense of joy, fun, excitement, relief, and remind them that other kids in the world are thinking about them. We partner with EPIC, a non-profit organization that supports Iraqis working toward a just and peaceful Iraq where all citizens live a safe, free and dignified life. EPIC will be distributing the bags to the Iraqi refugee camps they support in Ebril. Developing Diplomacy is a high school club and its members are students in Washington DC.
