Any extra dollar left after the plane ticket will be used for below basic needs:

1. accommodation plus electricity, water, gas and internet

2. Transportation from home to work

3. Food and clothing

4. School uniform and communication

NB: Under CSP program client or the sponsored family is not eligible for Centrelink benefit that is why is called " community support and this is the reason why am approaching you as my family and friends.

This family has called a refugee camp in Kenya home for over 25 years.

Now it is their time to come to Australia for a better life and be part of the Australian community.

In life every person has something in life that has brought up an extreme joy . Example for a couple that has been looking for a baby they get joy when a baby is born crying then " is a boy or a girl".

Examples are many but in a refugee journey this is what bring joy ' YOUR VISA IS GRANTED" .

This message was too good for me to believe it but was true to hear that a family of three I sponsored under Community Support Visa Program ( CSP) was granted visa to come to Australia after over 25 years on a refugee journey.

Can you imagine a life in a refugee camp where someone grew up then get married in the same camp raise children with no hope that one day they will be rescued, saved and served by people whom they never met. This is you and I who decided to change lives of many.

Thanks to the Australian Government for opening gate ( borders) to welcome stranger, thanks for Australian people for opening their compassionate hearts and generous hands to help this new family to settle well here in Australia.

More importantly my extended gratitude to the Harmer family in Canberra and Melbourne for offering a job and kept this position for two years. I wish I could use my language to thank you all in my cultural way called " umufomoro" which is eldery traditioanl speech.
