Help us to plant trees!

For 0,50 Euro we can plant a tree for you and for 2000 Euro about six football pitches - be part of it!

The past four years have had the hottest temperatures ever recorded. Extreme weather events such as heat waves, droughts, forest fires and heavy precipitation are increasing rapidly. Natural disasters will become more extreme, famines and refugee flows will grow.

All the world's leading scientists agree; our greenhouse gases must be cut down to zero in the next 20 to 30 years. 


But what are we doing?

We increase our greenhouse gas emissions and miss one climate target after another. If we continue like this, coastal cities like Hamburg, Shanghai or New York City will be flooded. Parts of the USA and the Middle East are uninhabitable due to the heat and Southern Europe is plagued by extreme droughts. Battles and civil wars over increasingly scarce resources will increase.

First it affects the poorest at the front and then our children. Mercilessly.

We need to act globally by:

- Drastically reducing our greenhouse gas emissions
- Planting forests on a massive scale

This is why at virblatt  we have decided to immediately reduce our greenhouse gas emissions and invest into reforestation.

Next month we will start our first tree-planting campaign. So, we are calling out to all our family, friends and supporters to join us. Join us in spreading awareness on how we all need to work together to solve this issue.


Our plan:

To plant at least 6, 000 trees (we have already donated 2000 trees - so 4000 trees left).

When: On September 4, 2019

Where: Pai, Thailand

With: Conserve Natural Forests  - a non-profit environmental foundation founded by Miguel Tenorio Tagle that aims to rest
ore degraded tropical ecosystems in Mae Hong Son Province, Northern Thailand.

How you can help:

For only 50 cents you can plant a tree! That means that for every 5€ you can plant 10 trees, so for every; 

- 50€ you can plant 100 trees (to offset flight from US to Thailand)
- 100€ you can plant 200 trees (to offset your car for 25 years)
- 150€ you can plant 300 trees (to offset your house for 25 years)
- 250€ you can plant 500 trees (to offset your car and house for 25 years)

As you can see, it doesn't take much to make such a decisive and urgent contribution. You can achieve a lot with just a small donation!
