The Reed's: Hope after death
Donation protected
Just days ago Lloyd Reed Jr passed away. Who was he, you ask? He was a dedicated father raising his four youngest children and grandson, alone. Though gravely sick the past few months, Mr. Reed fought for life because he knew his children had no one else to take care of them. Through agonizing pain he fought to take breaths hoping to see his 18 year old graduate high school in June. Through various organ failures he fought to try to speak again knowing his 16 and 17 year olds needed advice. He fought to live because he knew he was the only wall between his children and the wolves. In his final days of consciousness, I assured him that I would find a home for his children. Through the church the children joined four years ago I have been able to keep that promise to find them food and shelter, but now they need funds for those everyday needs, clothes, college supplies, school activites, etc...Losing their sole provider and parent has been a terrible blow to them and the uncertainty of their future only adds more stress. I am asking for donations to help off set the cost of their everyday living and make sure that some money can be set aside for things that come along. I cannot take the place of the care their father provided them, but as a collective we can give them what they need to keep them safe and reach their potential. Please donate.
