Hi. My name is Devin Brown. I'm a senior at Marin Catholic and a Boy Scout working on my Eagle project.
Ever since I was a little kid I have had both soccer and baseball games at the turf field at Red Hill park. I have grown up playing at this field, and it has been a host to countless joyful memories for my friends and me. To commemorate that, I would like to help solve one of the biggest issues with the field: the fact that there is no existing shade or seating for spectators.
I'm hoping you can help fund a great improvement to the park: Planting five beautiful redwood trees and installing two park benches at the south end of the field. This will be a shaded area where anyone can sit comfortably in the heat of summer afternoons. As the trees grow, they'll cast shade onto the field itself.
The work is being done by volunteers and the Scouts of Troop 50 from San Anselmo.
Some of the trees were given to us at a discounted price, but we really need the help of others
–family, friends, and neighbors– to help this project come to fruition.
Your generous donation will help make a lasting improvement to the park that we all love.
