Hi, my name is Dot Boyle and I'm fundraising on behalf of my big brother Bernard who had his first brain tumour aged 56, a hard working family man with 3 kids and 6 grandkids and everything to live for who went through chemo, sepsis, kidney failure and a coma and was in hospital for 6 months and had to learn to walk again after one bout of chemo the tumour went. (The doctors called him the miracle man)! We were amazed even though he wasnt fully back to the same person. He was alive. Then 4 yrs to the date the tumour returned and he had to endure chemo again but more aggresive this time. Due to Covid his wife was the only person allowed in the hospital which was very difficult for her and his kids and obviously his 6 siblings, not being able to take some of the pressure off. He has just finished chemo and stem cell re implant and currently free from anymore proceedures. I am aiming to get money together so we can purchase a second hand static caravan by the seaside to enable him to walk and exercise and build his strength back. After being bed bound for so long. He needs to build his muscles back and hopefully the sea air and environment will help aid his recovery.
Thankyou for reading and contributing to his fund.
