Recovery Support For The Whitson Family
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,
I am reaching out to you during one of the most challenging times our family has ever faced. Last Friday, my families home in Asheville, North Carolina, was devastated by the hurricane floods that swept through the community. The water rose rapidly, and before they knew it, their beloved home was filled with water, causing extensive damage to everything they hold dear. They luckily escaped by swimming out of the front door to safety across the street.
They have lost not only their possessions but also the place where we created countless memories as a family for over 25 years. The emotional toll has been overwhelming, and the road to recovery seems daunting. We are currently in the process of assessing the damage and figuring out how to rebuild their lives back to normal.
We are leaning on you for your support to help them get back on their feet. The funds raised will go directly toward:
- Repairs and Restoration: Repairs costs will include the structural damage done internally and externally. Electrical work, plumbing system, along with HVAC system.
- Replacing Essentials: all of their belongings: furniture, clothes, everyday appliances, food, water, dog food, as well as the family car.
We are incredibly grateful for any amount you are willing to contribute, whether it’s $5, $50, or more. No amount is too small, and every dollar brings them closer to rebuilding their lives. If you are unable to donate, we completely understand and would appreciate it if you could share this story with your network.
Thank you for taking the time to read this story. Please keep praying for the ones in Asheville that continue to rebuild, and for the people who tragically lost their lives. Your kindness and support during this difficult time means the world to us.
With heartfelt gratitude,
