Hi my name is Murdell Codner I am currently living in the uk

I am asking for help please to repair the damaged on our family home in Jamaica where I was born and grew up as a child

Even though I am not living in Jamaica but occasionally visit when possible, because I have family there who means a lot to me

The house was damaged by the hurricane on October 28, 2025 which left the structure standing but no roof

One of my elder brother Junior was living there and the rain and wind destroyed the roof everything inside it

My brother Junior is ok but we need to try and repair even if it’s a small part so he can move back home

He is diabetic and has other minor health issues but he’s coping, Junior needs to be able to get back home where he is most comfortable

This family home means a lot to us and by the Grace of God we will renovate it one day when we can afford it

This holds so much memories of our parents who are no longer with us in person but in our hearts

But for us as a family we cherish even the very structure that is left standing and I know my brother was comfortable when he was there

Over the past few years my family has lost so much loved ones that we have not even get time to process it all

Whatever funds raised will be used to purchase the supplies for the roof to be replaced

But through Faith and prayers we stand knowing and believing that while there is life, we are still hopeful for the future

So please I am asking if you can help us in achieving this goal which means so much to us

And in doing so I can tell you that whatever receive it will help us tremendously and even someone else who needs a little bit of help too
