About 1 week ago, during what was planned to be our date night, our child, our caregiver, Yanet, and her son were hit by a car while crossing the street. Luckily the driver stopped at the scene and called an ambulance. However, our child, Yanet, and her child were impacted. All survived—thank God—but Yanet and her son are still healing from their injuries.

The driver was 17 and without a valid license or insurance, leaving Yanet scrambling to pay for expensive medical costs while also trying to heal. Although Yanet’s son has access to health insurance through his father, Yanet does not have the same coverage and needs support to pay mounting medical bills; the ambulance alone cost over $2,300. 

Please help us to support Yanet as she takes this time to recover and heal. We are incredibly grateful for the love she has shown Zora over the last several months and desire to see her comfortable and cared for.
