Last night, our family experienced something no one ever expects—we lost our home in a devastating fire.

In just one hour, everything was gone. The fire started from a malfunctioning stove—one we only ever used on holidays—and quickly spread through the kitchen cabinets into the attic. Whatever the flames didn’t destroy, the smoke did. Our home is now completely unlivable.

The hardest loss of all has been our three family dogs. They were everything to us—the heart of our home—and losing them has left a pain that words can’t fully express. Freddie, my little sister’s dog, is the only one who made it out.

My mom has lost everything—clothes, furniture, irreplaceable family memorabilia, and the home she worked so hard to build. She won’t be on Facebook for a while as she takes time to process and begin healing from this.

We never imagined we would be in a position like this, but right now, we truly need help. Any donation, no matter the size, would go toward rebuilding, replacing essentials, and helping us take the first steps forward after this tragedy.
