Three years ago, my car caught fire while I was driving. I pulled over partway into a driveway so I wouldn't be in traffic. The fire department sprayed the house preemptively, chipping the paint. My car insurance paid the homeowners and slapped an "at-fault accident" on my record. Since then, I have been paying almost $400 a month for car insurance.

I work full-time and am scraping by since i also have a car payment and high medical/dental bills all the time.
