Recover Mom's memories

On December 15th, my partner Morgan Evans lost her mom, Ashley Pittman.

Today, we're organizing this fundraiser to help offset some of the costs associated with her passing.

From Morgan,

"Thank you for your interest in supporting the trip to recover my mother's momentos. Mom's passing has been one of the most unexpected goodbyes of 2023, along with my little sister around August.

This trip is not so much of a trip as it is a quick retrieval to gather whatever things I can of Mom's, my sister's and my Nana. My Nana is no longer with us either, so she had her belongings as well, so those are just as precious to me.

The recovery is going to be from New York to Alabama, and back again. Around 1200 miles each way.

The expenses of the tickets, the rental van and gas is what I am asking for. After covering her cremation costs, I am currently just out of other options. So I am asking for friends, extended family and those willing to help, to support this memory mission of mine."

In addition to the cost, we're also struggling with a time crunch to get down there as soon as possible. Some arrangements have been made to hold the belongings for a time, but it is rapidly running out as we try to plan all of this.

This has been a very hard journey for us, and the unexpected costs are adding up quite high. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for anything you can give.
