Howdy friends and family,
Last month at TroutStock Music Festival, there was a theft from our incredible music production company, Upstream Sound & More. As many of you know, Cooper Leafe, who owns and runs Upstream is a good friend of many musicians in the New England music scene and beyond. He is one of the hardest working sound engineers you can find and has the resume to back this up.
During the event a large number of professional microphones were stolen from the Pavilion stage at some point Saturday night from the hours of 10pm-5am. We were hoping that by making this public a few weeks ago, and it being shared far and wide, that someone would grow the courage and either come forward themselves, or let us know who stole them, but that was not the case.
The mics were never returned and Cooper now needs to purchase all the gear again. This GoFundMe is being setup to help Cooper recover his costs, and get back to where he was before the event.
What we are doing differently is setting a goal of $1500 to cover his costs, but then every penny raised above that goal will be donated to a local music charity to help kids play, learn and grow with the musical arts.
