About Matt Newton & The 24-Hour Golf Challenge

I’m Matt Newton, 54 years old, proud husband to Kylie for 23 years and dad to Olivia (22) and Harry (19). Together, our family owns and runs XGolf Penrith, which has been part of the local community for the past two and a half years.

This November, we’re teaming up with the Starlight Children’s Foundation — an incredible organisation that brightens the lives of seriously ill children and their families across Australia. Starlight goes beyond hospital walls, bringing fun, laughter and much-needed relief to kids through programs like Starlight Express Rooms, Captain Starlight, and Starlight WishGranting.

To help raise funds for this amazing cause, I’ll be attempting to break the world record for the most indoor golf holes played in 24 hours — right here at XGolf Penrith. It’s going to be a long day (and night!) of swings, putts and perseverance, all to help bring smiles to kids who need it most.

Every donation, big or small, helps Starlight continue their life-changing work — and keeps me motivated through the marathon of golf ahead!
