I want to bring meaning to this milestone birthday. I want to give back to the people who have gifted me some of the deepest healing and wisdom of my life.

In 2021, I first visited a community in the Ecuadorian Amazon. Back then, it was thriving. The people still are vibrant, connected and generous beyond words. Their way of life rooted in wisdom and sacred connection to the Earth, it‘s left a mark on me that I’ll never forget.

This isn’t just a community, it’s a living, breathing archive of wisdom. A place where healing is ceremony, and truth is lived in rhythm with nature.

But, a lot has changed over these years. The Ecuadorian government cut food support to Indigenous communities a year ago. Natural disasters have damaged their infrastructure and tourism, which has always been a primary source income, has slowed to a near standstill.

The school is under-resourced, food is scarce and the beauty and brilliance of what they carry is at risk of being further diminished by circumstances beyond their control.

Still they gather, tend to the land, teach and heal. They hold space for others to reconnect with nature and to remember who they are.

This fundraiser is my offering back to them.

To help provide basic food support, school supplies, and much-needed resources for the children and families in the community.
