Recall Miggins and Vinayak

The Committee to Recall Margaret “Maggee” Miggins and The Committee to Recall Sanjeev Vinayak have created this fundraiser. Contributions to this GoFundMe page support the effort to recall Ms. Miggins and Mr. Vinayak from their positions on the Millburn Township Committee.

As elected officials of Millburn Township Ms. Miggins and Mr. Vinayak have a duty to give notice, have open Township Committee discussions and allow the public to learn about and comment upon projects that will greatly impact the quality of life of residents and forever alter the character of the community. Their positions do not give them the authority to operate covertly and prevent the public from being made aware of such plans. Nevertheless, they have secretly negotiated and agreed to the Settlement Agreement that will impose such changes upon our community. The recall effort stems from these egregious actions and Ms. Miggins’ and Mr. Vinayak’s determined effort to move forward with these plans, made out of the public eye,

which are adverse to the best interests of the Millburn Township community.

Public trust in Ms. Miggins and Mr. Vinayak has eroded. Their actions have caused the

community to lose confidence in their abilities to properly carry out their fiduciary duties. A Recall Election is the statutory means available to NJ residents to fire elected officials, such as Ms. Miggins and Mr. Vinayak, whom they believe must be removed from office for secretly negotiating and approving an agreement that will cause harm to the very community they were elected to protect and improve.
