Community Rebuilds Woodstock Playground

Tax deductible
We use the slogan Parks Make Life Better because it rings true to us all. Our parks in Alameda are our community. We grow up in the parks, we bring our kids to the parks, we take long walks and exercise in the parks. The playground structure at Woodstock Park (off 3rd Street near Alameda Point) was tragically destroyed in an intentionally set fire Friday night. But Alameda will Rebuild Woodstock Playground! This fundraiser will show the community's support by raising at least 10% of the funds needed for the new playground. If we raise funds by the end of August, we hope to see kids playing on it by December.

Woodstock playground is used by three area schools, Nea Community Learning Center, Alameda Community Learning Center (ACLC), and the Academy of Alameda, as well as local community organizations. Area families are heartbroken, as the playground was redone just over one year ago.

Let's do this Alameda! When our community comes together, we can make a difference. Thank you for your contribution to Rebuild Woodstock Playground. The community donation effort and large donors will be recognized on signage at the rebuilt playground.
