Our family is asking for help after a devastating fire completely destroyed my granddad’s home.

The land where his home stood has been in our family for over 100 years. It’s more than just a piece of property; it’s part of our family’s history, filled with generations of memories. This is home to him, and watching everything he had there disappear in a matter of hours has been heartbreaking.

The fire burned his house completely to the ground. There was nothing left to salvage. He lost his home, his belongings, and so many things that simply can’t be replaced.

To make an already devastating situation even harder, my granddad did not have homeowners insurance, which means there is no insurance settlement coming to help him rebuild or replace what he lost. Our family is doing everything we can to help him, but the financial reality of starting over from absolutely nothing is overwhelming.

We are raising money to help provide for his immediate needs and, most importantly, to help him begin the process of putting a home back on the land that has belonged to our family for generations.
