Supporting with Love, Livia's Boys

We the friends and family are reaching out to ask for your support in helping a thoughtful and gentle young man, Mateo, who is currently facing an incredibly challenging time. Mateo is in the midst of year 12, approaching HSC exams (a crucial period in his life), while also grappling with the recent loss of his mother to cancer. Losing a loved one is heartbreaking, but to endure this pain while trying to focus on his studies is almost unimaginable.

Second to this, his brothers Ante, Luka, Simon and their young families also need your support. The loss of their mother (single parent) is magnified with the financial stress they are all experiencing.

Despite their grief, the family remains determined to stay together, and make things work. However, they are now faced with financial challenges that make this journey even more difficult. This campaign aims to provide them with the financial support they need to cover essential expenses during this period, including educational materials, counseling, and basic living costs.

We are requesting for a donation in lieu of flowers and gifts. We know in our hearts that Livia would have wanted her boys looked after.

Your donation, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in this family's life. It will provide them with some stability and the ability to focus on studies, self-care and family without the added stress of financial worries.

Livia’s funeral will be on Friday the 6th of September 2024 at 11.30am, St Michael’s Church, Meadowbank.
