Fire damage help…

I’m usually rubbish at asking for help for myself but when it comes to others I’d like to think I’m always there, so here goes a request for help on behalf of my brother and his wife.

The garage and annexe at my parents house, which was the location for many a house party with friends when I was a teenager, it was then my little house for a while, before it became home to my brother; unfortunately burned down on Thursday 6th July.

Alex and Jazz are in the process of renovating their first house together, whilst also expecting their first child in a matter of weeks (it’s like an episode of Grand Designs)

They have lost nearly everything including lots of sentimental and irreplaceable items, a massive collection of vinyl, some pretty cool art, and super sadly their pet tortoise. I used a photo of them for the cover because a burnt out shell of someone’s home does not make great viewing.

My parents have also lost everything that was stored in the garage, including my dads Scimitar in an amazing shade of eighties brown, and a restoration project in progress.

Things could obviously have been so much worse, and thank goodness nobody was hurt, there is insurance that will cover things but I’m hoping some money can be raised so Alex and Jazz can replace some of the special items that have been lost with new things to start off their lives in their first house.

I know times are hard at the moment, but if you can spare anything I know it will be massively appreciated.
