Early this morning, my grandparents’ home was completely destroyed in a fire.

It began as a small shed fire that quickly spread to their home and vehicle. Multiple fire departments—including Lebanon, Stayton, Albany, and Jefferson—were called in to battle the flames. Crews fought the fire for hours and remained on scene into the afternoon to put out lingering hotspots. We truly appreciate the time and effort they put into containing the fire.

Thankfully, my grandparents and their two dogs made it out safely—but they lost almost everything within its walls.

Now, they are facing the unimaginable: starting over, while also managing the ongoing challenges of both their medical issues. I would like to ease the burden on both of them as they work to rebuild their lives.
