Friends of Riley's Pour House Helping to Rebuild

As you may know, Riley’s Pour House suffered a catastrophic fire on November 14, 2024. It destroyed the entire building, furniture, equipment and decorations – but left us with 40 years of great memories of food, drink, music and great craic. And one silver lining was the outpouring of love and support from the community. The Pour House meant a great deal to the community as a gathering place, a venue to hear music, and as an economic driver for Carnegie’s business community.

Riley's Pour House is in the process of rebuilding, and hopes to have the project completed some time in 2026. While insurance will pay for a significant portion of the construction, there are a lot of expenses which are not covered.

The Friends of Riley's Pour House Committee wants to be a part of the revival of this community staple. Please consider helping us rebuild Riley's Pour House! Thanks so much for your support.

Transparency:

• Segregated Bank Account: Friends of the Pour House has opened a dedicated bank account at First National Bank, and all funds raised through events, donation or otherwise will be deposited in that account (the “Account”). All funds raised or donated through Raise a Glass to Rebuild Riley’s Pour House event will be deposited into this segregated account and all funds dispensed to assist with the re-building efforts will be disbursed from this account.

• 100% of the funds raised will be directed toward assisting the owners and employees of the Pour House in their efforts to rebuild the Pour House. All cash donations will be allocated directly to the re-building efforts of the Pour House.

• No administrative fees will be charged by the Committee for fundraising activities. All efforts are voluntary and made by individuals within the Committee.

• Third party fundraising expenses: The Committee may pay certain expenses to third parties in connection with fundraising. These expenses include expenses charged by fundraising platforms (e.g., GoFundMe) or for direct expenses related to fundraising events (cost of non-donated items).
