Hi everyone,

Yesterday, our family experienced something devastating, our mother’s home caught on fire. Thankfully, everyone is safe, but the house sustained severe damage and is currently unlivable.

My grandfather, who lives with my mother, had to quickly get himself and their dog out of the house as the fire spread. It was a very frightening situation, and we are so grateful that they made it out safely.

Despite efforts from the fire department to control the fire, the entire home was affected. There is extensive structural damage along with significant water damage from the firefighting efforts. Unfortunately, everything inside the home has been impacted.

My mother and grandfather are currently staying in a hotel with the help of the Red Cross, but this is only temporary. They have lost their home and many of their belongings. We are now trying to figure out the next steps to get them back on their feet.

We are kindly asking for any support, whether it’s donations or simply sharing this page. Funds will go toward temporary housing, replacing essential items, and beginning the process of rebuilding.

This has been incredibly overwhelming for our family, but we are beyond grateful that everyone is safe. Any help to my family would be greatly appreciated!
