In the early morning hours on Wednesday, Feb 25th, a fire broke out in my parents apartment. The fire completely destroyed one room and its contents. The water and smoke damage will be claiming the rest. Their home of over a decade is no longer livable.

This Gofundme will help with finding a new home, lost wages, replacing clothes, food, furniture and any other essentials that have been lost.

My parents should be relaxing in their retirement years, not having to start over. They should be spending leisure time in their own beds, not facing the need to couch surf. And while we are blessed and lucky to have them survive with only minor injuries, they are now facing a huge uphill climb back to normalcy.
