My name is Imani Jones, and I am a proud second-generation Jamaican. Though I was raised away from the island, Jamaica has always been a big part of my identity.

My family and local community in Trelawny, Jamaica have been devastated by a recent hurricane that destroyed homes, livelihoods, and essential resources. Many are now left without shelter, food, or clean water.

Seeing them and their neighbours struggle has pushed me to take action.

I’m raising funds to provide urgent relief, The funds raised will go toward putting together barrels filled with essential supplies such as food, basic healthcare items, school materials, and everyday necessities and supporting efforts to rebuild their homes and community. These will be shipped directly to the Trelawny community to help them recover and rebuild.

Any contribution, big or small, will bring hope and make a real difference for those affected.
