At the height of the winter storm one of the coldest nights of the season Feb. 1st, 2026, the McBeath Family - Billy, Heather and their youngest daughter Bayleigh experienced a devastating electrical house fire in their Jacksonville, Florida home of the past eighteen years. With no warning, they were forced to flee for their safety and escaped with only pajamas on their backs. In just minutes, their home was lost and everything they owned was gone.

This family —loving parents and proud grandparents to six beautiful grandchildren—have always trusted God and lived by faith. They have always helped others without question. Now they are walking through one of the hardest seasons of their lives, leaning on prayer, community, love and hope as they begin again.

They are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of prayer and love. Being displaced from their home they have few resources and staying with various friends and family. However, they must completely rebuild: Every day essentials like clothing, shoes, household items, and basic necessities, housing of their own. The road ahead is a long and overwhelming one. We all believe God sends wonderful people in our lives in urgent times such as this to be an extension of his hands and feet.
