Hello, my name is Vincent and I am here on behalf of a strong, loving, and caring aunt/mom, Marsha Bell.
She has been displaced for close to a week now due to an unbelievably devastating house fire that has destroyed nearly everything she owned and held dear, including her two dogs, Bear-Bear and Charley, who she had just adopted, and two cats, Tiger and Izzy. Tragically, they had succumbed to that same fire just under a week ago at the time of this post.
I understand that times are hard enough as is, especially with everything going on in the world around us, but I feel that if anyone is more deserving of a chance at hope and love, it’s my mom-aunt Marsha Bell, an amazing woman and overall good-hearted human being. Despite having M.S. and multiple back and neck issues, she still fought to raise 9 children, all her own, 4 of which she saved from being put through a system of broken homes and foster care, myself included, and my two brothers and sister. Yes, my aunt came and devoted years of her life and opened her home at the time to keep me and my siblings from being further separated from our family while my mother and father dealt with their own struggles and illness at the time.
She continues to help people today as a nurse and recently started training in phlebotomy. She is a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother, and a friend to the community.
So at this time, anything that we can do to get some semblance of life and peace back for her, let’s band together and reach out and help her as she has helped so many from family to furry friends to get back on her feet. Thank you all.
We are fundraising to help Marsha Bell rebuild her life after this tragic event.
