On the morning of April 11, 2026, Jessica Kaba and her 13-year-old son Eddie experienced a devastating house fire that took everything from them. In a matter of moments, their home and all of their belongings were lost. Thankfully, Jessica, Eddie, and one of their beloved cats made it out safely (while we hope the others got out and are just scared hiding), but they escaped with only the clothes on their backs. Now, they are faced with the overwhelming challenge of starting over from scratch.

Jessica and Eddie need help with all the essentials—clothing, food, furniture, and a place to stay.
