Our Family Lost Everything in a Fire—Please Help Us Rebuild

I never imagined I would be writing this, but here we are—our family of four, standing in the ashes of what used to be our home, with no idea what comes next.

We just returned from pre-surgery for Abel and it all happened so fast. One moment, we were going about our day, and the next, we were surrounded by smoke. I had only seconds to grab Abel —our sweet two-year-old, who just had a birthday this month today. The air thick with smoke, and all i could think about was getting out safely

We escaped, watching helplessly as everything we owned—our memories, our children’s toys, the home we built with love—was swallowed by smoke and ash. The devastation is overwhelming. We lost clothes to important documents, and now we’re left trying to figure out where to go from here.

We are grateful beyond words that we are safe, but the road ahead is uncertain. We have nothing but the clothes on our backs and the hope that, with the kindness of others, we can start over.

Right now, we need immediate help with essentials—clothing, food, a safe place to stay, and the resources to begin rebuilding our lives. Any amount you can give, big or small, would mean the world to us. Even just sharing our story could make a difference.
