Rebuilding Hope for Families in Jamaica After the Hurricane
0% complete
$8,015 raised of
92 donations
Hurricane Melissa has devastated my family’s homes and their community in Jamaica, leaving many without roofs, belongings, and a sense of safety. Several of my relatives in St. Elizabeth were among the hardest hit, losing their roofs and experiencing significant damage. We are still waiting to hear from other family members and friends.
My name is Coreene McGregor. I currently live in the United States, but I spent my early years in Jamaica, where my roots and much of my family remain. I am raising these funds to assist my family members in Jamaica as well as others in their community whose homes were damaged by the hurricane.
The funds will be used specifically to:
• Purchase roofing materials
• Cover labor costs for repairs
• Replace essential household items that were destroyed
• Provide temporary assistance such as food, water, and basic necessities for those displaced
All donations will be sent through a trusted family member in Jamaica to ensure the funds reach those most in need directly.
Every contribution, no matter the size, will help bring hope, stability, and relief to my loved ones and others affected by this disaster. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser or keeping my family and the people of Jamaica in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out, offered support, and shared prayers during this difficult time. Your kindness means more than words can express.
