On Friday, July 3rd at approximately 2:44 p.m., my friend’s grandmother’s home in Bay Shore, NY, was tragically destroyed by a fire. The fire is believed to have started outside the home, and the cause is still under investigation.

This house was more than just a home—it was the heart of the family. She lived there for most of her life, and it became a place where generations of children, grandchildren, cousins, and loved ones gathered to celebrate holidays, make memories, and simply enjoy being together. Countless unforgettable moments were shared within those walls, making this loss especially heartbreaking.
