The Alcindor family is in urgent need of help after a devastating fire caused by a lightning strike on Monday, September 7th. In an instant, 4 adults and 3 children lost their home and most of their possessions. Among those affected are Boyd H. Anderson staff member Shahidaaza Alcindor and student Adamu Alcindor.

This fire has left the family homeless and without many of the basic things needed for daily life. Right now, donations will help the Alcindor family pay for a place to stay and cover basic necessities while they work to rebuild after this loss.
