The Alcindor family is in urgent need of help after a devastating fire caused by a lightning strike on Monday, September 7th. In an instant, 4 adults and 3 children lost their home and most of their possessions. Among those affected are Boyd H. Anderson staff member Shahidaaza Alcindor and student Adamu Alcindor.

This fire has left the family homeless and without many of the basic things needed for daily life. Right now, donations will help the Alcindor family pay for a place to stay and cover basic necessities while they work to rebuild after this loss.

Please consider supporting the Alcindor family during this incredibly difficult time. Any donation will mean so much, and if you are not able to give, sharing this fundraiser would also make a real difference in helping them find safety and stability.
