At around 3:00 a.m. last night, the unthinkable happened to two of the most precious people you’d ever meet. Savannah and Sean’s apartment, which they worked so hard to get, after two months of living there, caught on fire. They watched the building that had their entire lives inside burn. They have both had the humblest attitude one could in a time like this, worried about their neighbors with small children more than themselves, even. Thankfully, God is a protector and kept them and their dog, Smidge, unscathed. They had a very small renter’s insurance policy, but it’s hardly what they had saved up for a year to get their first apartment together. They are independent and wanted to take care of things without being a burden to their loved ones. Now, they must lean on us more than they’d ever have chosen to.
But here they are in this heartbreaking situation, and they are in there laughing and thankful to be alive and healthy and together. If anyone ever wanted to help someone rebuild their life, it would be these two kids.
Thank you in advance, on their behalf, for any amount you would like to donate to their cause.
