On March 16th, 2026, my parents Diane and Bill and my sister Katherine experienced a devastating house fire that completely destroyed their home and all their belongings. My mom was in the house when the fire started and didn’t notice it until my dad came home. Luckily, everyone was able to evacuate unhurt. However, the loss of our home, memories, and everything my parents have worked so hard to create has been devastating.

Right now, my parents and sister are facing the overwhelming challenge of starting over. Both of my parents are retired seniors and my sister Katherine is disabled. This crisis has made life unimaginably more challenging on top of daily challenges they already faced before the fire. They urgently need help with securing a place to stay as the situation unfolds, food, clothes, and gas.

This GoFundMe will help them cover those physical needs as they move through this crisis now and in the months ahead.

The restoration folks provided a timeline estimate of 1.5 years to rebuild. I'll update this GFM periodically as we learn more.
