Dave and Melissa Armstrong aren't the type to ask for help. They're the type who give it. But on June twenty-fifth, their home in Yuba City, California, was destroyed by fire, and they lost nearly everything. What matters most stayed safe: Dave, Melissa, their teenage sons Auggy and Mikey, and their beloved black lab Lucky all made it out.

Dave is a healer and specialist in manual therapy, dedicated to helping people recover from pain and trauma and feel like themselves again. Melissa has poured her heart into running a baseball league for kids with disabilities, including their son Mikey, who has Down syndrome. Between them, they're the kind of people who show up for everyone else first.

Now they're facing the overwhelming task of rebuilding from nothing: immediate housing, replacing essentials, and caring for their family, including Mikey's specific needs.
