My name is Aaron Andreoni and I'm raising funds to help my best friend, Mark Whiting, and his girlfriend, Pam.
In the early hours of this morning, a fire tore through the home of one of our community's most dedicated people. Mark and Pam lost everything — their belongings, his furniture, their memories, the roof over their head. They got out safely, but they are standing today with nothing but the clothes on their back.
For over 20 years, Mark has poured himself into our kids. He coached them, believed in them, and watched them grow — from flag football to tackle, from tackle to high school, from high school to college. Those kids were his kids.
Mark never had children of his own, but ask any kid who played flag football in this community and they'll tell you — Coach Mark was there. He showed up every season without fail. He taught them more than plays and formations; he taught them discipline, teamwork, and what it means to keep showing up. He watched those same kids go on to play tackle football, then high school ball, and for some, all the way to college.
He gave freely and consistently for two decades. He never asked for anything in return. Today, we are asking our community to step up for one of our own. Let's help Mark and Pam cover emergency housing, replace their essential belongings, and begin the long road to rebuilding their life — the same way he helped rebuild the confidence of countless young people who came to play on his team.
Every dollar goes directly to Mark. No overhead. No middlemen. Just our community saying: we see you, we haven't forgotten what you've done, and we've got you.
