This morning, Aaron and Alyssa Cyrus lost everything in an apartment fire in Ripley, WV. Their home, all of their belongings, and their beloved dog, Brutus, were taken in the incident. Thankfully, they got out safely, but now they’re left with very little to nothing. The timing couldn’t be worse, as their baby is due in January and they had just finished getting ready for the new arrival. All the precious items from their recent baby shower—clothes, diapers, crib, essentials, and sentimental gifts—were destroyed in the fire.

Aaron and Alyssa are working on new housing arrangements at this time, but the emotional and financial toll is overwhelming, and losing Brutus has made this even harder. The thought of welcoming a new baby without any of the essentials is daunting, but they’re doing their best to stay strong and hopeful.
