Rebuilding Dell Dale Agape Worship Center

On Tuesday morning, May 21st at 2:15am, our church, Dell Dale Agape Worship Center at 15338 S.Brentwood in Channelview, TX, burned and we lost everything. Pastor and his wife, congregation, and friends are heartbroken, but we know God is awesome and we believe that this is giving us the opportunity to rebuild and start new. Our costs are going to be great but we know God can and will provide. (But my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.) Philippians 4:19

We estimated the church to be about 75 years old. Pastor and his wife have been the ministers here for almost 20 years so you can just imagine the heartbreak and disappointment in losing such a historical building. We have the memories and we can take them with us after all the items lost are only materialistic things. However, to rebuild you need those materialistic things. A church has a lot of needs for example; Bibles, Hymnals, Pews or Chairs to sit upon, audio equipment, musical instruments not to mention the building itself.

We do have insurance however in today’s economy the coverage is not going to cover the entire cost of rebuilding so we are reaching out to our friends, family, and the community. Our church has always given to the community and the less fortunate at any opportunity as we are able. Our community is already showing their support and we have already received $130.00 in donations just from passersby. We have received several other donations as well but still have a long way to go. This is a sign that God wants us to rebuild and continue his work by preaching and teaching his true word.
