We're Jess and Janet. Our parents own and operate Bridal Falls Centre , a family-run business located next to Bridal Veil Falls in British Columbia.

Many people travelling through the Fraser Valley know the location. Bridal Falls Centre has been a stop for locals, tourists, campers, and travellers looking to fuel up, grab a meal at Rancher's Restaurant, pick up essentials from the store, or stay at the RV campground before visiting Bridal Veil Falls.

In June 2025, a fire destroyed much of the property and forced the business to close. The fire started after an incident involving a motorhome and quickly spread through the site. What was expected to be a temporary closure has turned into a much longer recovery process than anyone anticipated.

Nearly a year later, Bridal Falls Centre remains closed.

For our parents, this has meant almost a year without the income that supported both the business and our family. While insurance has helped with some costs, it has not covered everything, and rebuilding has been slow, expensive, and complicated.

Like many small business owners, our parents have continued to deal with ongoing expenses even while the business has been unable to operate. They have spent the past year working through cleanup, repairs, permits, insurance claims, and rebuilding plans in the hope of reopening.

Along the way, there have been additional setbacks. While trying to complete some of the work himself, our dad fractured his collarbone, making an already difficult situation even more challenging.

We both currently live abroad, and while our parents continue managing the rebuilding process themselves, we wanted to create this fundraiser to help ease some of the financial pressure and support the work still ahead.

Any contribution, no matter the amount, will go directly toward rebuilding Bridal Falls Centre and helping our parents get the business operating again.
