Hello! My name is Patroy Reeves, and I have served as a Minister of Religion in the community of Boscobel, St. Mary, Jamaica for over 15 years.

Today, I’m leading a mission of compassion and recovery for families of Boscobel who have lost everything after the Category Five hurricane (Hurricane Melissa) that tore through our island, Jamaica.

Boscobel is a close-knit community of approximately 11,000 residents, many of whom have lost everything. Homes are roofless. Families are without food. Children have lost their school supplies. Elderly are now left vulnerable, with no means to rebuild or even rest safely tonight.

Boscobel is more than a place to me it’s my family, and my heart. I’m adopting this community to help restore dignity, stability, and hope to these families who can’t rebuild alone.

This campaign will:

1. Feed families and deliver emergency food supplies

2. Repair roofs and provide construction materials

3. Clothe children and adults who lost everything

4. Support the elderly with care packages and safe shelter

5. Rebuild homes, restore livelihoods, and empower men to lead in rebuilding their community
