Service to the Dear Neighbor - Mustard Seed Communities

Hello family and friends! This spring break, I will be returning to Mustard Seed Communities in Jamaica, with members of my Regis community, as part of our service immersion program.

Mustard Seed Communities is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide hospitality and care to those who are most vulnerable. Last year, I was fortunate to get the opportunity to volunteer at one of Mustard Seed's sites in Jamaica, Blessed Assurance, which houses up to 30 children and young adults with various disabilities.

As many of you know, Jamaica was affected by a category five hurricane a few months ago. Unfortunately, this event devastated many parts of the country and hit Blessed Assurance especially hard. Many of the homes the residents live in were destroyed and water and electricity restoration is still underway.

Your donations will support the costs required for me to travel, as well as provide the members of Blessed Assurance with the necessities they need to live and restore the community. Any donation is greatly appreciated!!

I hope that my experience and enthusiasm for this organization continues to shine a light on Mustard Seed Communities and the amazing work they do for so many people each day! Together we are living God's mission, using our gifts to serve and love one another.
